CTP Believes

CTP hit Hadley Studios hard this week to complete work on the set for Take Your Child To Work Day (TYCTWD).  The results were great.  The setlist has come into focus and our next few rehearsals will ready us for the gig.  Listen to our take on the Monkees tune "I'm a Believer" made popular by the band Smash Mouth in the movie Shrek.

CTP to join Michael Jude Ward-Bergeman for Gig365

CTP will join forces with Michael Jude Ward-Bergeman for an evening of music to benefit Elijah’s Promise at Pheasant's Landing in Hillsborough on Friday, February 18 at 9pm.  This event is part of Gig365, MJWB's worldwide tour that will see him play 365 gigs in 365 days - Whitney Matheson of USAToday's PopCandy put it best: "One Man, One Accordion, 365 Days a Year".  The link between CTP and MJWB is no coincidence.  CTP Bass guitarist, Christopher Trotta and Michael were the founding members of the Tremont Elementary School Orchestra in 1977 under director Ira Kocivar.  Having lost touch for several decades, Ward-Bergeman and Trotta recently reconnected and saw a great opportunity to come together and play this gig to benefit Elijah's Promise, a New Brunswick soup kitchen.  The band includes Joe Colacino, lead guitar, John Corrado, percussion, Jamie Crona, rhythm guitar, Joseph Tivade, vocals, Tash, vocals, Scott Gothe, keyboards; saxophone and Geoff Gingerich, trombone.  They have been together for over a year and are currently performing at company events.  February 18 will mark the first public performance by CTP and MJWB.  The gig will feature MJWB on the accordion playing solo pieces and joining CTP on classic rock cover tunes and some originals.  Hope to see you there.
